Nicole Gastonguay Ritchie grew up in Lewiston, Maine in a strong Franco-American culture. She was a double major, French and Math, at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME and studied abroad at La Sorbonne in Paris, France. After graduating, she spent a year in Switzerland studying French at L’Université de Lausanne. Prior to having a family, she taught French in independent schools, including Berwick Academy.

Mme Nicole offers French classes for children ages three through ten. During the school year, she teaches at the William Fogg Homestead in Eliot, ME. She also visits nursery schools on the Seacoast. She is currently the French teacher at ChildLight Montessori School. In the summer, she offers Family French and Summer Camps.
